ASTM A106 seamless steel pipe is carbon steel pipe for boilers, heat exchangers and high-temperature service. ASTM A106 includes 3 steel grades: A106 grade A, A106 grade B and A106 grade C. The ASTM A106 seamless steel pipes are suitable for welding, bending, flanging, and similar forming operations. Mechanical testing of the specimens shall include tensile, bending, flattening, hydrostatic and nondestructive electric tests. Among the 3 ASTM A106 steel grades, ASTM A106 grade B is one most commonly used steel grade.
