2. The steel used for API 5L PSL1 X52 steel tube shall be fine grain killed steel. API 5L PSL1 X52 steel tube is not specified.
3. The steel strips or plates used for manufacturing API 5L PSL2 X52 steel tube shall not have any repair welds, and the pipe body shall not be repaired;API 5L PSL1 X52 steel tube does not have this provision.
4. PSL1 and PSL2 steel tube with API 5L X52 steel tube of the same strength grade have different chemical compositions.
5. Maximum steel grade L485/X70 for PSL1 steel tube and L830M/X120M for PSL2 steel tube.
