The 20# seamless steel pipe extrusion process includes the following production processes:
Blank: After the round blank is peeled, cut to length, drilled, mechanically processed and cleaned, a hollow tube blank can be formed and the 20# seamless steel pipe blank is ready.
Billet heating: According to different steel grades, it can be divided into three heating stages to ensure that the appropriate temperature required by the production process is reached.
Preheating: A rotary hearth gas furnace will be used for one-step heating to preheat the billet to 700℃~900℃.
Induction heating unit (first stage): A group of induction heating units heat the billet to the temperature required for the reaming process, which is about 1100℃ to 1250℃. The specific temperature value is determined according to 20# seamless steel pipe. The induction heating unit adopts low frequency heating method.
Blank lubrication: perform glass fiber lubrication before reaming the 20# seamless steel pipe.
20# seamless steel pipe reaming: The round billet that has been drilled before extrusion must be reamed from a smaller pilot hole until the inner hole of the 20# seamless steel pipe finally reaches the inner diameter processing accuracy requirement.
